Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 9, 2026
At Abris Iceberg, we take the protection of your personal information seriously. This policy explains, in plain terms, what information we collect on this site, why, and what you can do about it.
1. Person in charge
The person in charge of the protection of personal information at Abris Iceberg is the owner of the business. For any question or request:
- Email: abrisiceberg@gmail.com
- Phone: 514-249-6614
2. What we collect
- Quote form: your name, email, phone, city, the shelter type you're interested in, your message, and the page language.
- IP address: when you send the form, to block abusive submissions (spam). It's deleted automatically after one hour.
- Meta (Facebook) cookies: only if you click “Accept”. See section 5.
- How you found us: the first page you visited and, if you came from an ad, the campaign name. Kept in your browser tab only, and sent along with the form.
- Your “My request” list: the items you add stay in your browser only, until you send the request.
- Your cookie choice: saved in your own browser, so we don't ask again on every page.
We never sell your information.
3. Why we use it
- To prepare your quote and get back to you about it.
- To follow up on your request (delivery, installation, removal).
- To protect the site from spam.
- If you accept: to measure how well our Facebook and Instagram ads work.
4. Who has access
Only the Abris Iceberg team reads your requests. We also rely on established providers to run the site:
- Cloudflare: website hosting and security.
- Resend: sends the email that tells us about a new request.
- Google (Gmail and Google Sheets): receiving and tracking requests.
- Meta: ad measurement, only with your consent.
- OpenStreetMap: map images on the delivery zone page (your browser downloads them directly).
These providers may process your information outside Québec, including in the United States. They only get the information they need to provide their service.
5. Cookies
With your consent, we use the Meta pixel. It sets a cookie (_fbp, kept for up to 90 days) that tells us whether a visit or a quote request came from our ads. Without your consent, the pixel isn't loaded at all.
You can change your mind at any time with the link, also at the bottom of every page.
6. How long we keep it
- Quote requests: as long as needed for follow-up, at most 3 years after our last contact, then destroyed.
- IP address: one hour.
- Meta cookie: up to 90 days, or until you withdraw your consent.
7. Your rights
At any time, you can:
- ask to see the information we have about you;
- have it corrected;
- withdraw your consent or ask us to delete it;
- get a copy in a common format.
Email us at abrisiceberg@gmail.com. We'll reply within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can file a complaint with theCommission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
8. Changes
If we change this policy, the new version will be posted on this page with its update date. Questions?Contact us.
